By Car

· exit the A 72 motorway at Chemnitz-Süd and take the B 173 main road following signs to Chemnitz

· after approx. 1.5 km turn right onto the B 169 (Südring), exit the Südring at Technische Universität, follow signs for Chemnitz-Zentrum (Reichenhainer Straße)

· pass the university campus and take the next turning option to turn left into Rosenbergstraße

· after a left turn go straight ahead to the Institute

· car park directly adjoining Institute

By Rail

· from Chemnitz-Hauptbahnhof (main station), either by taxi or

· on foot to the bus stop Schillerplatz (5 minutes from main station), then take bus no. 51 in the direction of Reichenhain as far as TU Campus bus stop, and 3 minutes on foot to the Institute (passage between University complex)

By Airplane

· either Dresden airport and rental car (approx. 90 km to the Institute): A 4 motorway, then onto A 72 at Autobahnkreuz Chemnitz in the direction of Hof, Chemnitz-Süd exit, then as aboveor

· Leipzig-Schkeuditz airport and rental car (approx. 95 km to the Institute): B 95 main road in the direction of Chemnitz, follow signs for A 72 motorway, Chemnitz-Süd exit, then as above
